Controling Doug
Simply Right-Click and release to drill in to the Earth. By holding the click and moving the mouse, you can change the angle you drill in to.
In the top left corner, you'll notice a gauge in the shape of the drill. This is your overheating gauge. Every time you start drilling, this gauge will drop. But, when you aren't drilling, this gauge will recover. When your drill overheats, you will be unable to do anything. So, it's optimal to drill around holes to get the most distance for one drill possible.
Move left and right with A and D respectively. To swim or to change direction in Dirt, hold down a click and Doug will move in the direction your mouse is. When against a surface while swimming, you can release your click to drill out.

Pickaxe
Hold down click to dig down, and drag away to move left or right.
Hammer
Hold click to charge a swing, and release to drop down. You can move left and right by dragging Doug away.
Shovel
Hold down click to pogo down, and drag left or right to tilt Doug in that direction.
Firework
Hold down click and move your mouse to move freely. You move faster in the air.
Canary
When in the air, click to float. The gauge above tells you how long you have, and it can be recharged on solid ground
Magnet
When drilling, you can click a second time to move to a new point.
Rope
This powerup allows you to scale down the side of the cave. Hold click to charge a jump, and release to rappel down.
